About The Course
High-quality photography and video are powerful tools for public safety agencies, strengthening communication, community engagement, recruitment efforts, and overall brand perception. This immersive three-day workshop is designed to equip participants with the skills needed to confidently capture and produce professional-grade photo and video content using DSLR or mirrorless cameras.
Led by experienced professional photographers and video specialists with extensive experience in public safety media production, this course blends technical instruction with hands-on application. Their work in the field is widely recognized and respected, bringing real-world insight and practical techniques into every session.
Participants will learn how to take full manual control of their cameras, master lighting and composition, and efficiently edit both photos and video for polished, impactful results. Through guided demonstrations, practical exercises, and a complete photo and video project, attendees will build confidence and develop a solid workflow from capture to final product.
