Weekly PIO Calendar Digest: October 26, 2026

A Note from Paul

Good Monday morning!

We reached another exciting milestone this morning! For the first time, The PIO Calendar surpassed 10,000 website views in a single month, and October isn’t even over yet!

It’s exciting to see how much The PIO Calendar continues to grow. Thank you to everyone who visits, submits events, explores the Bookshelf and resources, participates in PIO Perspective, and shares the site with colleagues. Every contribution helps more communicators find opportunities to learn, connect, and grow.

Last week, I was in Los Angeles teaching a FEMA Advanced Public Information Officer course in support of preparations for the 2028 Summer Olympics. It was another reminder that professional development and preparation go hand in hand.

We’re also continuing to expand The PIO Calendar beyond events, including the Bookshelf, PIO Perspective, and other new features in development.

With hundreds of upcoming opportunities available, I hope you’ll find something useful in this week’s digest.

Have a great week!
