October sets a new monthly record as use of The PIO Calendar continues to grow.

The PIO Calendar has reached another major milestone, surpassing 10,000 website views in a single month for the first time since launching in February 2026.

October has already set a new monthly record, exceeding the more than 7,600 views recorded in September and representing more than 30% month-over-month growth.

But the significance of 10,000 views goes beyond the number itself.

Every visit represents a Public Information Officer, communicator, emergency manager, public safety professional, or other visitor looking for an opportunity to learn, connect, or strengthen their work.

They may be searching for a training course. Exploring an upcoming conference or webinar. Looking for a professional organization. Discovering a new book or resource. Participating in a PIO Perspective survey. Or simply trying to find an opportunity they may not have known existed.

That is exactly why The PIO Calendar was built.

Since launching earlier this year, the platform has continued to expand beyond its original events calendar to include professional organizations, resources, the PIO Calendar Bookshelf, PIO Perspective, and other tools designed to support the public information and communications profession.
