Weekly PIO Calendar Digest: September 14, 2026

A Note from Paul

It’s a great start to the week, and I hope yours is off to a great start, too!

I’m excited to be on the National Disaster & Emergency Management University (NDEMU) campus this week, helping mentor the final class of this year’s Executive Public Information Officer (EPIO) cohort. Congratulations to the 24 students who will graduate Friday!

Being here is a great reminder of the importance of professional development as a PIO. We should always be learning, looking for new ways to do things, challenging ourselves, and finding that next opportunity to grow.

That’s a big part of why I created The PIO Calendar, and there are plenty of opportunities to do just that in this week’s Weekly Digest.

Have a great week!
