AI-Ready, Not AI-Replaced: Keeping Your Voice While Working Smarter
Government communications teams are often stretched thin, and there is a growing trend of using AI as a solution. However, much of the advice overlooks the most important aspect: your voice. This session will demonstrate how to prepare your team to effectively use AI without losing the personal touch.
We will explore practical, day-to-day automation techniques that you can implement immediately, helping to eliminate busywork and allowing you to focus more on the human elements of your role. Additionally, we will conduct a live demonstration using a Crisis Communication Simulator that utilizes AI. This simulator immerses your team in a realistic, evolving crisis scenario where you will practice drafting statements, anticipating questions from reporters, and managing timelines under pressure.
By the end of the session, you will have tools that you can start using right away, along with a clearer understanding of where AI can assist you and where your judgment is still essential.
