The PIO Calendar recorded its busiest month to date in July 2026, welcoming 3,118 visitors and generating 5,352 views.

The new monthly records represent significant growth over June, the website’s previous strongest month. July saw a 36% increase in views and a 53% increase in visitors compared with June’s 3,934 views and 2,036 visitors.

The record-breaking month reflects the continued growth of The PIO Calendar as a resource for Public Information Officers, communicators, instructors, emergency managers, public safety professionals, and organizations across the country and beyond.

What began as a simple idea to make PIO training and professional development easier to find continues to grow into a platform featuring hundreds of upcoming training opportunities, conferences, webinars, networking events, resources, organizations, and professional development opportunities.

Each visit represents someone exploring an upcoming opportunity, discovering a new resource, or connecting with the broader public information and communication community.

Every visitor, event submission, share, email subscription, and recommendation has helped The PIO Calendar reach more people—and July’s record-breaking growth would not have been possible without that support.
